Ian Wrigglesworth - Longest Serving Mill Steward

It is with great sadness that everyone associated with Brindley Mill learned of the untimely death of Ian Wrigglesworth on 11 December 2024. The Funeral took place on 10 January at the premises if the Funeral Director, S Sigley & Sons. The ceremony was well attended by friends and family. Those of us from the Mill who worked with Twig when stewarding together found him to be the most aimiable and knowledgeable colleague who was happy to impart his wisdom to others. He was well read as well as having an extensive knowledge of various genres of music. The eulogy was given by Kimberley Mason who had clearly researched and been provided with extensive information by the family. Ian will be sorely missed by all who knew him and to those who worked with him at Brindley Mill.
